Camp Prince’s Pine
The church supports Camp Prince’s Pine by sending our teens, pre-teens and adults as campers to our various sessions. We offer a family camp each Memorial Day weekend and youth camps in June and August. Men’s retreats are also offered from time to time. The camp is operated by Northeastern Washington Christian Camps, Inc who’s board is composed of members of churches of Christ in Washington and Idaho. As a not for profit corporation we lease about forty acres on the shores of Lake Thomas in Stevens County, Washington. Our lease if guaranteed for us as long as we want to keep it.
- All Teen Camp is August 8-14.
- Pre-Teen Camp is August 15-21.
There is a heavy emphasis on maintaining a positive Christian athmosphere with sound bible teaching and wholesome recreational activities. Our first teen session of the season is our music camp where teens are encouraged to compose Christian music, improve the vocal music skills and leadership skills.
Young people attend out camps from Washington, Idaho and other locations. This affords teen to network with other Christians. A great many young people have been born into the Kingdom of God in the waters of beautiful Lake Thomas. The lake also offers an excellent and safe place for swimming, canoeing, paddle boating and other water activities including fishing,.
The board of NWCC has historically maintained our registration fees the lowest available anywhere. This is possible by utilizing an all volunteer staff at all sessions.
